Hi everyone! Here is a use for my Masdevallia ignea which has got five flowers on it this year. That is five more then last year so in about 20 years it will be rivalling Bill Gardiner’s!! The eagle eyed amongst you might notice the corn stalk star we made at Roy and Jenny’s corn dolly workshop about five years ago. It is still going strong. The colour of the masdevallia’s flowers makes a good alternative to a poinsettia.
