This time has arrived again! This is our chance to show what our society does. As usualĀ  we hope to put on an impressive display of plants although what is in flower depends on what sort of winter we are due! There will be potting demonstrations and cultural advice available as well as the chance to buy orchid plants from vendors. We will have homemade light lunches, cakes and drinks for sale. This month we are welcoming Colin Thorburn to come to talk to us about "Native Taiwanese Orchids". Colin is a member of the Orchid Society of East Anglia that meets in Norwich and he comes to talk to us fairly regularly. He often goes to the Far East and takes his own excellent 'photos to illustrate his talks.

Suffolk Show Update and Regular Monthly Meeting

We have only a fortnight before our attendance at this year's Suffolk Show, at Trinity Park, on Wednesday 29th May and Thursday 30th May. Hopefully it will be as warm as it was last year - fingers crossed. Steve will be assembling the stand ready for us to bring our plants on the evening of Tuesday 28th May from 6.30. Trip to Cambridge Botanic Gardens-What you need to know!

For this trip we have decided to use our own cars and provide lifts as required. Although Cambridge has a good park and ride system the Trumpington Park and Ride (CB2 9FT) is the most convenient for the Botanic Gardens.
