DESCRIPTION:  \nOur spring 2022 show will take place at St. Michaels Church Centre\, The Drift\, Martlesham. IP5 3PL on the 19th March\, from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m.  £1.50 entrance. Where there will be a display of member’s orchids.   Also orchids will be on sale from Lawrence Hobbs Orchids and Orchid Alchemy. Potting demonstrations and advice on orchid care will be given through the day. Refreshments will be available all day.

DESCRIPTION:The November meeting will follow the usual form. Martin will show slides he took of the orchids at the Keukenhof Festival. It will be interesting to compare it to the Kew Festival that we have visited as a group. I hope he slips in a few tulips to get us through the dark days of winter! \nFollowing that there will be refreshments. Members are asked to provide a small plate of food to share. Drinks and basics will be provided by the Society.

SUMMARY:We're Back!!!! (Regular Monthly Meeting)
DESCRIPTION:At last we shall be able to meet after the most unusual 18 months. The meeting will open with a short AGM. It is only a year late during which time I hope that our members have had lots of time to get the most marvellous plants for this month’s show table. There are several important posts to fill many of which Bill\, who has been Chairperson for an extra year\, has heroically manged to fill bar the necessity of having to be seconded by the members at the meeting. NO NEED TO MAKE AN EXCUSE FOR NOT COMING THEN! It is planned that this bit of the meeting will be very short. After that there are plans to have a plant sale. Both Bill Gardiner and Andy Gissing have indicated they have lots of spares! Cash will be needed so you can leave your overused cards at home! Mostly though this meeting will be to renew acquaintances and just socialise. \nOn a more down to earth note regarding the Covid situation there will be hand sanitizer available and we are lucky that the hall is large enough to be able to spread out and not get too close. If members feel safer when walking around please bring a facemask. \nBill has asked that you E-Mail him if you are not able to attend this meeting. \n
