After three long years enduring the COVID pandemic, it was great to be able to contribute a stand to the Suffolk Show.  Fewer members than usual were able to contribute orchids in flower to the stand, but nevertheless there were enough to set up a marvellous display that won a Large Gold. We took the opportunity to honour our recently deceased Show Secretary, Steve Wright, by placing a photo of him on the stand; this was much appreciated by his family and Society members. As usual, Lawrence Hobbs judged the competition for best plant on the stand; this was won by Bill Gardiner with his Coelgyne pulverula (formerly C. dayana).
