Epidendrum purum
Epidendrum purum is from Ecuador. Bill first saw this some years
ago when his group was travelling along a valley floor planted with commercial
fruit trees. They all seemed to be in flower but when they got closer it could be seen that each tree was covered in flowering Epidenrum purum plants – a wondrous sight!
Laeliacattleya callistoglossa alba ‘Taylor’
Bill was lucky enough to obtained this plant about 4 years ago at a Suffolk Orchid Society
plant sale. The flowers are large, about 14cms across.
(I love straggly white flowers!)
