We chose the right weekend to hold our annual show. It was a Saturday sandwiched between two really cold ones!
We had a very successful day with a rush of admissions on opening lasting until early afternoon before we could draw breath. There were many interested people asking for information about the display plants, how to grow/care for them and about our society. As usual the potting demonstrations were packed by enthusiastic people. The kitchen worked flat out to serve those who wanted refreshments.
May the committee thank members who provided food, plants and most importantly their time on the day and prior, to make the event so successful. We should also like to thank those local newspapers and magazines, shops and businesses as well as BBC Suffolk who helped publicise our event.
