Our Annual Show this year was very successful, with attendance 15% up on last year. Our members put up a lovely display:

Our visiting nurserymen, Lawrence Hobbs and Andrew Bannister (of Orchid Alchemy) did a brisk trade; our catering team was kept very busy; we ran a tombola; and David Mittell staged an attractive stand with his hand-made wooden baskets and pot stands. Sadly, my camera malfunctioned and so I can’t include photos of all of these :-(.
Paul Atkin won Best Species and Best in Show with his Coelogyne lawrenceana. Andy Gissing won Best Hybrid with his Dendrobium Swiss Mountain Palace.
